I (Jennifer) get so excited about the 4th of July. My family goes all out! We start with firecracker pancakes (A.K.A. pancakes with blueberries and strawberries in them), decorate paper bags to stash our parade candy in, and even dress red, white, and blue. And this year, I’m adding in Sandy’s pin wheel idea to the repertoire…so cute! How can you not like the 4th…parades, cotton candy, bounce houses, and fireworks! This holiday has it all and here’s the guide that will get you there. Happy 4th everyone!

don’t forget the Hollyhock Parade
Thanks Steven, I love the Hollyhock Lane parade!
Thank you so much for putting these guides together – they are very helpful!
ty for the guide…it sure helps for planning the holiday weekend…I just wish more places would offer fireworks on sat or sun so it wasn’t a late night the night before working moms and dads go back to work!!
I e-mailed this too, but there will not be a children’s bike parade in Rockford!! They moved that to the harvest festival in the fall.
