When we asked for the scoop on your favorite ice cream shops, you guys came out in full force! I’m very excited to find some new shops that we can visit! Below you’ll find a list of shops, their addresses and what our readers (YOU!) love most about them.

You’ve got to stop in at Rosie’s Ice Cream & More in Sand Lake when heading up 131. New owners took over last year and they are making fantastic ice cream treats. They also have great food. I never knew an olive burger could have too many olives!!!
Uncle Cheetah’s Soup Shop on Wealthy Street just west of Fuller has a gourmet sundae menu that is fabulous! Real fruit, homemade fudge sauce, quality nuts, and hand-whipped real whipped cream. They make their own soft-serve using real, quality ingredients. The vanilla is made with these local bourbon vanilla beans; it is AMAZING. Also: kids get free cones! 2 free kids’ cones with each adult purchase every day.
Just a note that Rosie’s is in Rockford off of 14 mile, east off of 131 North (unless there are two!)
