the drums are my favorite instrument. My husband loves to play and is starting to let our two year old son play – which makes them both very happy.

  • Sarah says:

Tie between guitar & violin, as both are so portable & versatile.

  • Samantha Hanna says:

My favorite instrument is the guitar

  • Shawn says:

Love the clarinet. I like how it can carry the whole song, or blend right into the background…..

  • Gina says:

My favorite is probably the piano. I love that so much can be going on at the same time on one instrument.

  • Christine Stander says:

Harp is my favorite it is so unusual and has such beautiful tones.

  • Shannon says:

We love the drums! Landon, our 17 month old, is getting really good at carrying a beat. A close second is the clarinet. My husband has been playing for years and is eager to pass along his instrument to our son.

  • Maryann Selders says:

The violin. My father taught himself to play as a young man. My granddaughter is now in her third year of lessons. Hearing her play the violin brings back wonderful memories and is creating new ones!

  • Jill says:

I absolutely love the piano as I took lessons from age 7-17. I didn’t always love it but I am SO thankful that I stuck with it. It is such a relaxing thing to just sit down and play.

  • Tracy M says:

My favorite is the cello, powerful and peaceful.

  • Shelly Boerman says:

In the spirit of alliteration (Krazy Keyboards)..we would like to say that we would pick the piano: because we find it perfectly pleasant and peaceful, but also powerful and playful. Pick us, please please!

  • Jen Post says:

We love the drums in our house!

  • Rhonda Clarke says:

The Clarke family loves the piano. It is a skill that has been passed down thru several generations. Nothing brings us together better as a family than one of our younger players sitting down to play, and the rest of the family gathered around to sing and encourage them to share their wonderful gift of music. Good music soothes the soul.

  • Heather Hill says:

I am professional musician and love exposing my son to everything I can that is musical! His favorite musical instrument is the piano because he can pick out familiar tunes. (He’s working on the Pirates of the Caribbean right now.) He tries so hard to figure them out. I am barely employed at this time and would love the opportunity to take him to this event. Thank you for considering us!

  • Lisa says:

My favorite is the flute because I played it growing up. Now, I get to enjoy watching my children attempt to play and squeal with delight when a joyful noise escapes!

  • tara evans says:

My favorite the triangle. You don’t need a ton of experience to play it and it gets everyone attention When my children were little in music class it was perfect for little hands.

  • Melissa says:

GUITAR! My fiance and our two daughters all play. This was be so awesome to win!

  • Sheila M says:

piano- great instrument to start off learning music and a great life long instrument to play.

  • Michelle Sanborn says:

My favorite instrument is the clarinet. I played it from 6th grade all the way through high school and my daughter is already excites to lean to play it too

  • Vanessa says:

Our family’s favorite instrument is the piano. We like it since it has such a wide range of sounds. Plus since it’s like a piece of furniture in our house my children will spontaneously go sit at the piano and play. I love when that happens. It’s music to my ears!

  • aimee says:

Love the viola and cello from my orchestra days ! My daughter is now playing the french horn and we love that too!!!

  • Eddy family says:

    Our family loves the piano.

  • Shanda S. says:

I love guitar, probably because it’s what I play :)

  • Rhonda Vanderwest says:

The piano would have to be my all-time favorite, with the cello behind that. The majestic and gentle sounds of the piano make it a joy to play. The woody, natural, soothing cello sound is beautiful.

  • Emily says:

The piano. It is the most versatile.

  • Becky says:

My favorite instrument is the harp! It has a sort of mystical quality. The music it makes is heavenly!

  • Amy and Bradon says:

My favorite instrument is the violin/fiddle. It is my favorite because when I was growing up, my Dad was in a band (a local Grand Rapids band actually) anyway, his fiddle player (Mr. Randy Johnson R.I.P) was not only my favorite person in the band but he sure knew how to play that fiddle. The sound of one, whether it is played as a traditional violin or a “screaming” fiddle is soothing for me!

  • Thank You!! I’m looking forward to taking my kiddos to the concert.

  • Let us know how it goes Sheila!
