The holidays begin in Ada on Friday, Dec. 2, 6PM-9PM!
Join our family for a fun‐filled kick-off the holiday season in Ada Township! It starts with the annual bridge lighting ceremony, followed by trolley rides with 8 stops at area businesses for specials and treats and activities {see below for more on each trolley stop.}
At 6pm, we’ll be at Ada’s historic covered bridge for the lighting ceremony and to listen to caroling groups. Then, we’re going to catch a trolley in search of other special “treats” that night, especially Santa!

Trolley Stop #1: The Community:
- Puppet Show, “An Old Testament Christmas” performed by the Hillcrest Christian Reformed Puppets for Christ at 6:30PM & 7:30PM.
- New Horizons Caroling Band on the Community patio and throughout Ada.
- Ada Art Chicks (located inside The Community) – register here to win a basket of hand-crafted gifts.
- Mini-Ada Farmer’s Market (located inside The Community)with 20+ vendors.
- Blimpie’s Subs: 6″ sub and soup for $5.00
- Heather Lane Pottery: Enjoy refreshments while you watch artisans transform ordinary clay into extraordinary pottery.
- Mulick’s Floral: Serving hot cider and donut holes.
Trolley Stop #2: Ada Historical Society
- Come find joy in Christmas Past! The Ada Historical Society will celebrate with a holiday display, Christmas Cards for kids to decorate, wreaths for sale, hot chocolate and nibbles.
- MeMe’s Foundation: Drawings for lingerie as well as punch, hot tea, cocoa, donuts and treats.
Trolley Stop #3: Big Steps, Little Feet:
- Make your own holiday Picture Frame at Big Steps, Little Feet
- Engergize|Inspired|Fitness (inside Big Steps, Little Feet), Come see fitness demos and enjoy complimentary chair massages. Special gift certificate packages available.
Trolley Stop #4: Headley St.
- Roanaoke Ranch: Free pony rides
Trolley Stop #5: The Mud Room
- The Mud Room: All ages can create a ceramic glass ornament for $9/person (all inclusive). In addition, kids can make a keepsake plate for $25 featuring their handprint with Santa’s…only $20 with a pass from Village Kids!
- Ada Vision: Enter a drawing to win a pair of sunglasses.
- Edward Jones Investments: Open house, refreshments available. Register to win a drawing for Winter Warmth Basket.
- McDonald’s: Free coffee or cookies (limited to one per customer)
- Salon 404: Stop in and meet the stylists and get $5 eyebrow waxing, $5 hair treatments, complimentary hair consultations and treats!
- Village Kids: Free pictures with Santa and 10% off store-wide! Get your picture taken and receive $5 off keepsake plate at The Mud Room!

Trolley Stop #6: Ninth Bridge Market:
- Free food and wine sampling and s’mores on the patio at Ninth Bridge Market.
- Bridges Animal Hospital: Indulge in treats for pets and their people. Our veterinarians will answer any questions and a dog trainer will conduct a Q&A program. Come have your pressing pet predicaments solved!
- Heidi Christine’s Salon: Experience a complimentary sample service.
- Ken Dixon Architecture: Live Nativity in the parking lot. Hot chocolate and cookies.
- Norman Family Dentistry: Live Nativity. Enter to win an electric toothbrush, drawing every half-hour.

- Betsy Ratzsch Pottery: Sponsoring an Old World Santa greeting people in the Village. Free cookies and children’s gifts from our grab bag.
