John Ball Zoo Pairs up with Meijer Gardens & We’re Giving Away Tickets!

Coming Soon to Grand Rapids…Animal Adventures: Growing Up Wild!

This Contest is now closed.  Congratulations Elizabeth Stine!  I’m (wildly) excited about John Ball Zoo and Frederik Meijer Gardens pairing up once again to bring Grand Rapids Animal Adventures: Growing Up Wild!  My family missed out on this event last year (sigh) but this year we’re going.  My kids will love the chance to get up close with some amazing animals and even pet them.  Not to mention, their adventurous side will love exploring the conservatory by flashlight.  What a perfect way to spend a winter night!

You don’t want to miss this!  At Animal Adventures you will…

  • Discover fascinating things about four animals— a mammal, a reptile, an amphibian and a bird.
  • Watch live animal presentations close up and pet the animals.
  • Enjoy animal story time.
  • Explore the Tropical Conservatory by flashlight.
  • Do animal art activities.
  • Play games like: Listen Up, What’s for Dinner and Pop Up Peek-A-Boo.
  • Mondays, January 30 and February 6 at 6–7:30 pm at Meijer Gardens.
  • Reservations required by calling Meijer Gardens at 616-974-5239 or John Ball Zoo at 616-336-4310
  • Reservation deadline for each event is the Thursday prior to the event.
  • FEE: $5 members, $7 non-members (Ages 3 and up)
