Way back during my freshman year of college, the song “The Freshman” by The Verve Pipe was super popular and a favorite of mine, it’s one I still listen to. Then, about a year or so ago, the band popped up as a recommendation during one of my online retail shopping excursions because they now have an album of music that’s for the whole family (aptly named “A Family Album”). There is nothing I like more than music we can all enjoy and rock out to. The great news is, The Verve Pipe is part of LaughFest’s Meijer Family Friendly Series and we’d love it if you could hear them in concert!
Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00pm and 3:00pm, The Verve Pipe will be performing at St. Cecilia Music Center. Tickets for this Family Friendly LaughFest performance are available thru laughfestgr.org or by calling 616-735-HAHA. Prices are $10 for adults and $7 for children.
The GRkids family wants your family to see this fantastic children’s recording artist! We are giving away 2 tickets (one adult and one child) to see The Verve Pipe on March 17 at the 3:00pm show. We love the Verve Pipe actually. The kids have seen them a few times, and love “Be Part of the Band”.
We listen to “Rockstar” by Nickelback with our son all the time, he loves it!! We even played it at our wedding.
My kids have lately been loving Party in the USA. It’s not my favorite, but watching them dance to it is priceless.

I never knew The Verve Pipe had family music – I’d love to go to their concert with my son! My kids love all kinds of music, but they especially love to rock and roll to Life is a Highway (from the movie Cars).

My boys love Five Frogs by Anna Moo. It is the go to song to sing in the car when it starts to get a little crazy.
